Andrea Dunham

Miss Andrea has been dancing since 1981 and has trained with several prestigious studios and companies through California. She started at Colleen’s Dance Factory and continued her dance education with Tremaine Dance Studio, and EDGE Performing Arts Center. Miss Andrea spent five years as a Sacramento kings dancer while she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from Sac State. Andrea also holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education and is working to complete her Special Education teaching credential.

In addition to her classes at the studio, Miss Andrea works to stay involved in our community. For many years she directed the Yuba Sutter Fair Scholarship Program, and many of the events associated with the Yuba Sutter Fair. She is currently a special education teacher, as well as mother to four, in addition to her time at the studio!

Miss Andrea believes that dance is an amazing way to express yourself. It helps dancers to work through their emotions, exercise, and learn how to “act” and be a character on stage. She loves that she is able to share this gift with so many young people.
